on 11/22/2005 I find doing straight forward exercises, like running and cycling, to be boring. A fun way to exercise is to dance. Joining a belly dancing group is great, and for the men, try boot-scooting. Otherwise a cheaper, easier way is to just turn on a music channel and copy the moves the professional dancers do.
on 11/22/2005 I've begun this routine 4 months ago and have lost 16 pounds already!! * Exercise regularly...Take a walk preferablyIf you follow the routine below without exercising, you should lose upto 9 pounds in 4 months....* After you wake up drink atleast 4 glasses of water before you brush your teeth (works great on skin too)* then follow with this ---boil water (similar to how you boil tea or coffee)...then add a teaspoonful of honey and squeese half a lemon...mix it together and sip it away....do the same before you go off to sleep..* have lunch and skip off your dinner and have fresh juice instead---2 cucumbers1 beetroot2 tomatoes2 carrotslittle cabbagelittle cauliflower and any other vegetable you want to addsqueeze one lemonlittle ginger and garlic (around half a teaspoon)3-4 mint leavesDO NOT ADD WATERmake a fine paste of the above ingredients and strain the mixture in a fine muslin cloth and squeeze the juice out of it....TRY TO HAVE ATLEAST 3 GLASSES of the above juiceyou can change the quantity of vegetables as per your requirementThis juice works great on weight loss....increases metabolism....relieves you of stress....detoxifies your body....works great on blood circulation....makes your skin glow....what else do you want?...YOU LOOK GREAT!!ONE aWESOME TIP** Incase if you are off to have a heavy meal, just drink a big glass of ice cold water around 15 minutes before the meal. on 11/22/2005 His secret was determination. Don't start a program if you aren't ready. It requires an emotional and physical commitment. A balanced state of mind and determination will make sure you stick through the diet and you'll see results. Have fun with losing weight, it's not a punishment.
on 11/22/2005 I've stopped watching TV while I eat. I enjoy every bite and don't eat as much. It helped me control my portion and enjoy my food. Savor your food and you'll see a difference almost immmediately. Good Luck Everyone!!
on 11/22/2005 Eat a lot of dairy products every day. Try different yogurts and cheeses. It's called the dairy diet. Dairy products break down fat in your body, it helped me.

But getting your carbs in is really important or you'll never lift your eyelids! Despite popular thought, caffeine makes you hungry in the long run! Drink lots of water if you like coffee. Eating natural foods like fruits and vegetables instead of processed, salty, oily, and sugary snacks can be just as satisfying and will leave your body feeling lighter and cleaner. When food shopping, just avoid the junk foods aisles. If the junk isn't in your house, you won't be tempted to eat it. I was about 200 pounds 2 years ago and have since lost approximately 35 pounds while gaining a nice muscle tone. I am in the best shape of my life and attribute this change to exercise and healthier eating.
on 11/22/2005 If you grab for chips because they are convenient and easy to stuff in your mouth, then head to the bulk foods section of your grocery store. You can get dried mango slices that are about the same size as chips, they are natural, and have natural sugars and fats in them which are good for you. They taste great and are safe to snack on when watching TV. Also dried banana chips are great. Mix banana chips, dried mango slices and unsalted peanuts for a great improvised trail mix.
on 11/22/2005 Try to avoid eating anything before going to bed, no midnight snacks either, you burn very little fat while you sleep. Make sure to drink plenty of water though.
