I was 20 lbs. overweight when I began a diet program at church. The program ran only every other season. After 1 & 1/2 years of yoyoing, I'm now 50 lbs. overweight. Just make small changes you can live with every day.

The way I lost a couple, was eating what I wanted. But only in small portions. Less greasey foods though. Like, 2 peices of chocolate in any or a small peice of a donut and vegetables, with lots of water!!

I have a digital camera & I've been taking a photo of myself in the same clothing on the same day every month. It really keeps me motivated to eat well and work out so that I can see the changes month by month.

To lose weight all you need to do is eat the healthy foods all of the time and limit the number of unhealthy foods you eat. Be sure to eat vegitables, fruits, and bread with little extras (all natural foods are best)

Be a bartender. I have been bartending for 5 years, it's like aerobics, I have lost a lot of weight. Come get my kids and chase them a while, this will help too!!

I find I'm closer to my best weight when I'm in my best emotional state. When a person is feeling emotionally secure and happy with themself food isn't a center point of their life. Tackle emotional issues. Daily walks can lift spirits and it's exercise

I find that I'm most successful when I write down the food that I plan to eat for the day at the beginning of the day (I count points from W. Watchers)- it's like having a map. I can also look forward to the treats I've included.

Keep your posture straight at all times, especially when you are sitting. You will love the way your silhouette looks while losing some weight at the same time.

I try to buy small plates, about 1 1/2" smaller that regular ones. I fill my plate and it look like a lot more than it really it. Also-put your veggies on first. It doesn't leave much room for junk!

I have had a lot of trouble losing weight and when I finally realized that it was because I am a compulsive overeater it really opened my eyes! Maybe you are too!

Okay, if you MUST cheat and eat that burger or pizza or other greasy food, at least do this: Take your napkin (you may need more than one), and blot your pizza slice to remove excess grease. Do this, and you'll be shaving off many calories!

Do interval training: if you run, bike or powerwalk as fast as you can for one minute, then slow down for a minute and a half for 40 minutes, you'll be well on your way to losing weight faster!

If you want to lose weight, stick a photo of yourself inside your fridge or cupboard. It really does stop you from reaching for those treats.

Before I put anything in my mouth, I ask myself, "Is it worth it?" I find myself eating a lot less and being more conscious of what my body needs versus what it craves.
