on 11/22/2005 No carbohydrates, no sodas, no beer, etc. Drink lots of milk and juices. Eat meats with no fat and lots of fruits and veggies. Treat yourself to fat-free popsicles. Exercise and go to GNC and get some hydroxycuts.

on 11/22/2005 It is proven that 10 minutes after your first bite, your brain starts to send signals to your body that you are full no matter how much you've eaten. So, the slower the bites, the less you eat in that amount of time. Eat fast, and you'll surely eat more.

on 11/22/2005 You must increase your water intake. A good goal is at least 3 quarts a day. For people who have over 25 lbs to lose, try to drink at least a gallon. It is a natural appetite suppressant. Try herbs too. I've lost about 80 lbs.

on 11/22/2005 Get a balance scale (like your doctor uses). You can watch yourself lose 1/4 lb. at a time instead of waiting a week to see
a 1-pound loss. It's a real motivator to watch the scale move down, even if it's only 1/4 lb. It works!!!

on 11/22/2005 It's been proven that walking is better than running for your joints. Please heed the warning before it's too late and your joints are injured! Instead of your 15-minute jog, take a brisk 30-minute walk. It'll work wonders for you.

on 11/22/2005 Whenever I start to get discouraged about my weight-loss progress or lack of it, I go to the meat section of the grocery store. I look for a package of hamburger that weighs what I have lost in the last week (or month) and pat myself on the back.

on 11/22/2005 To make sure I drink my eight 8-oz. glasses of water each day, I bought an eight-pack of 1/2 pint bottled water. I refill the bottles every day and put them in the fridge. It makes it easy to keep track of how much water I drink during the day.

on 11/22/2005 Eat about 1200-1400 calories daily. Also try to walk a mile 5 days a week. Drink water - try for at least 32 oz. Eat low-fat foods. I've lost 28 lbs. in the last 7 months. Don't lose too much too soon or you'll gain it back.

on 11/22/2005 Join a class, group or club. Make sure you are having fun while working out. Make plans to go to work out or run with a friend you don't see often so it becomes just as much a social event as an exercising event. And be active; vary your activities.

on 11/22/2005 Eat one large meal a day. Make sure it is low in fat and calories. Eat a Nutri-Grain bar for breakfast and like a salad for lunch. Then eat a large supper, but it still has to be sensible in fat and calories.
And exercise - about 30 minutes - daily!!!

on 11/22/2005 Hey- Here's what I did to lose weight...I DIDN'T EAT! It was hard and not good for me. I started telling people and they said I was anorexic, and I was. NEVER EVER stop eating. There are many other ways to lose ways to lose weight. Exercise is great.
