on 11/22/2005 Don't starve yourself or force yourself to throw up, because you can seriously hurt your body by doing either. Don't go on a grapefruit diet; as soon as you stop the diet, you gain all that weight back that you just spent months losing.

on 11/22/2005 When opening the fridge door, think are you really hungry. It may be that you're just tired or bored. Take a nap or do something useful. Also, if you need to be chewing on something constantly, chew sugarfree chewing gum. Try different flavours!

on 11/22/2005 Bathe in cool ocean water, bath tub or pool. Cool water forces the body to burn calories to maintain normal temperature.

on 11/22/2005 Do an activity you find fun. Don't get too hung up on counting minutes or feeling your heart too much. Only do an exercise that's easy for you.

on 11/22/2005 Before you diet, enjoy and treat yourself to a bunch of goodies that you love to eat. Then start the diet by counting the calories each day. I lost 5 kg. in a month this way. Good luck with your weight loss!!

on 11/22/2005 Instead of thinking of the negative - losing weight, focus on the positive - becoming slimmer, healthier. ... Most people, when losing something, have a tendency to try to find it again. Old Chinese saying: Focus on the positive to eliminate the negative.

on 11/22/2005 I've learned to eat when I am hungry, stop when I am full, and eat whatever my body is craving. Your body really does crave to be healthy!

1. Taebo - I've noticed significant muscle tone and weight loss. 2. Water - It's pure; why do you think plants and animals will only drink water. 3. Do something like read when eating; you'll feel full faster.

on 11/22/2005 While you are dieting, don't be afraid to cheat every now and then. Everyone cheats on diets, but if you plan a cheat meal or cheat snack, you feel like it is part of your program and you do not have the guilt after you do it.

on 11/22/2005 If there is one thing that helps me whenever I need to overindulge, it's: "Two seconds on the lips, forever on your hips."

on 11/22/2005 You shouldn't eat so much. We all love to eat, but try not to eat so much. Also, try putting a teaspoon full of chili powder on whatever you eat. This speeds up your metabolism and helps burn more fat faster!

on 11/22/2005 Visualize! When you feel yourself reaching for something like greasy bacon or gloppy chocolate, try picturing a beautiful cornucopia of glistening fruit and vegetables or lean fresh fish and meat. What do they show in the grocery ads? The fresh produce!
