on 11/1/2008 This is a wonderful website; I never knew it existed. I was looking for answers after my son's football team sustained a blow out of a lost last night. My son is the starting running back. Even though, he is fast and a skilled player, he had nowhere to go. As soon as he got the ball, he was hit. The opponent blitzed every time-something his team was not use to. Our coaches just stood there and watched as our team suffered an embarrassing loss. They knew the blitz was coming and never did anything to try to change the momentum. Needless, to say they kept running my son straight up the middle. To my amazement, they saw that the blitz was effective for the other team, so why they didn't try to use it for themselves is baffling.
