Thank you so much, MotherDove! My only hope is that I can learn from my own mistakes (and if that can help others then that's a bonus!) Thanks again!

This is so nicely written - not to mention inspirational and too true! I was enjoying just reading it so much I had to go back and contemplate the points you were making. Very wise and encouraging piece, GeoffreyMe. Bravo!

More literary than literal since I only know Hell from books, but those same books do mention the eternal extent of Free Will and that in itself may fill Life in the here and now with, perhaps, hopeful abandon. Think Eternally, Act Presently.

Are you suggesting that these steps relate to the literal place known as Hell and we can just forgive "ourselves" out of becoming a resident?

Thanks very much. Free Will sometimes doesn't seem so free at times and so I needed this reminder just as much as anyone! hehe Thanks again.

Free Will - it's a beautiful thing. I wasn't sure to expect from this article when I read the title but I have to tell you that I enjoyed this. This is great advice, not just for adults, but for teenagers who suffer so much from peer pressure and self doubt.
