Return to article: How to Learn to Eat at Home
on 10/16/2008 Once you've mastered that you can save even more money by learning to cook basic meals from scratch. It can be fun!
on 10/13/2008 Great suggestions! I eat out because of convenience, but with microwaved meals, isn't it just as convenient? 5*
on 10/11/2008 Eating at home also includes important time sitting down together and talking. This helps the family bond.
on 10/8/2008 Thank you very much for these tips, so many are stuck on going out to fast food and restaurants theses days . I think we would be a lot healthier if we look towards our home cooked meals first .
on 10/4/2008 This article is so detailed and informative. I always try to eat at home to save money and eat healthy. Thanks so much for the advice...such great insight!
on 10/3/2008 Covenience is such a tempting mistress, but there are too many benefits to eating at home to not commit to it. Thanks for the tips.
on 10/1/2008 Cooking at home can be fun in addition to economical. Thank you.
on 9/27/2008 Excellent article and so true. I need to stop eating out so much. I LOVE to cook, too and don't do it as much anymore. 5*
on 9/27/2008 Strangely enough it is getting almost as expensive to make a big meal at home as it is to go out for one or two people. Sad to see how food prices have went up.
on 9/26/2008 Good points and very true. Thanks for putting the information to words so accurately.
on 9/26/2008 I like eating out, but for the most part we eat and cook meals strictly at home. I just like being able to control nutritional value and content and feel restaurants are overpriced and too high in fat and calories. Your article is excellent!
on 9/26/2008 I liked comparing the take out receipts versus the grocery receipts. That will open some eyes for sure! Thanks!
on 9/25/2008 Also, drinking is expensive too. When I switched to powdered ice tea (making it at home, myself), I saved more than five dollars each day. The prices of soda and ice tea outside really add up. Figure five (dollars a day) times three hundred and sixty-five days a year--that is a huge difference in price. $1825.00 just for a soda or ice tea. So, even if you do not have time to cook for yourself, make the drinks yourself. Great article. Five stars * * * * *
on 9/25/2008 Good tips, some important tips to remember!
on 9/24/2008 Eating at home is much cheaper and you are sure of the nutrition that you are getting. Great article!
