on 9/24/2008 Isn't it interesting how many more and different things we have to protect or kids from than our parents had to do with us? The base issues are the same - not talking to or trusting strangers, but the sneaky ways that these strangers can get right into our homes means we as parents have to be even more vigilant and watchful. We wouldn't let our kids go to parties with people we don't know and don't trust, and likewise we can't leave them alone on the computer and trust everything will be okay.
on 9/22/2008 Good article. You can't stress internet safety for your kids too much. And don't forget the number one safety tip: Be aware of where your kids go on the internet, keep your computer in a public room in your house, don't let your kids have a computer in their bedroom. It's just too easy to get to dangerous places where they don't need to be.
on 9/17/2008 these are wise suggestions
