Return to article: How to Enjoy Your Lunch Hour
on 11/1/2008 A lunch hour would be such a luxury, I don't think I've ever had that long. You're right though, going to the break room and not staying in my classroom is so important to feel re-energized, even for 30 minutes. A change of scenery is crucial. 5*
on 10/19/2008 When I worked in the factory those 18 years there were lunch breaks that were simply shared with co workers. We only got 30 minutes and that's not much time to talk and relax. On days when I had lunch breaks alone and even some 10 minute breaks I'd set outside and read. It does take you mind off of work for just a minute.
on 9/23/2008 A lot of people tend to not take advantage of their break/lunch times by leaving the job setting, this is great!
on 9/17/2008 We don't get paid for our lunch break so we shouldn't feel guilty. I have never really thought about it until your article, thanks. 5*****
on 8/12/2008 Love this article. Thanks for reminding us that God has commanded us to rest even in the middle of pressure. 5*s cherylgoff.com
on 8/10/2008 I don't know why people feel guilty for taking lunch. Good article.
on 7/30/2008 What a positive article. I have spent many a lunch hour feeling guilty for even taking it which, as you reminded me, is stupid and unnecessary. Now I'm self-employed and still need to work at treating myself better at lunchtime. This is a 5 star article for sure!
on 7/29/2008 I'm self-employed and even I find myself scarfing down my lunch in a matter of minutes while sitting at my computer trying to stay on top of deadlines. Not good! This article is a reminder that it's important to take time out during the day to nurture ourselves. It's stressful, not to mention, bad on the digestion, to eat in a hurry.
