on 7/28/2008 This is a good point. It's a cosmos thing. It is not spooky or idol worship. Many people in their journey to obtaining what they want from their financial gain will place pictures all around darn near around their bed like an ALTAR. With the right spiritual emotion, I think it makes sense to also remind yourself of what you derve and desire. It is what creation offers glory and gratitude. Thankfullness and Gifts. Well understand. Thank you

on 7/27/2008 Thank you, Dannyboyjoe, your comment is a blessing to me. If it would serve you and your camp group, please feel free to copy and take these suggestions with you. Making a group altar on a tree stump might be a fun idea arranged with items found in nature. Have lots of fun!!

on 7/27/2008 I'm going to be a counselor at a Christian camp in a few weeks and one thing they have us do is create an altar in our cabins. Each camper and counselor can bring any items they want to include. I cannot wait to read part two. Your writing flows with a personal and spiritual touch, not rigid or militant. Wonderful!

on 7/25/2008 This is great. I have seen many beautiful altar spaces in other peoples homes, but they just weren't calling them altar spaces.

on 7/24/2008 Hi Klnygaard - the only difference between Angels just sitting on your dresser and an Altar of Angels is your intention. You might want to remove them, clean the space, and replace each of them with an individual thought about your connection. Good question - thank you.

on 7/24/2008 I like this. I had a section of my dresser for angel statues, would this be considered an altar?
