on 8/5/2008 For some artists I know, the more weird the creative fleshing-out, the better. Dali was known for sitting down and drowsing with a key lightly held on a hand. The moment he sleepily dropped the key, he woke up and recorded whatever images he could recall in those half-awake periods.
