Return to article: How to Stage Your Home
on 8/12/2008 Excellent ideas and they really work!
on 8/12/2008 Thanks for the tips - hadn't heard of using citric fruits tho I had heard of baking choc chip cookies!
on 8/12/2008 Excellent tips. My hubby and I flip homes, and they sell faster when staged. That is the reason why brand new homes sell faster too, other than the fact that they are new, because the model homes are staged professionally.
on 8/12/2008 Great tips .. steps 7 & 8 are vital as many people overlook those little steps that can make a big difference .. airing out, getting rid of that "stale air" is extremely important .. thanks for sharing.
on 8/11/2008 Excellent article!
on 8/11/2008 Good reminders. I can't believe how many homes we walked through (as potential buyers) that desperately needed this advice! They'll never know how that first impression lost them a sale.
on 8/11/2008 You are so right about this, I kind of thought there was something else to it, now I know, thank you.
on 8/11/2008 Great tips and advice!
on 8/11/2008 I liked the title to your article. You can also bake cookies, steam potpourri and more.
on 8/11/2008 I think many staging techniques could be applied even if you aren't moving. We would enjoy our houses more if everything worked and the clutter was gone.
on 8/11/2008 An easy way to make a home stand out is by adding a fresh look at the entry, such as flower pots, an elegant address plaque or door knocker. They add value and a sense of coziness. I just bought a plaque at SML Home and Garden online and it really makes the difference!
on 8/11/2008 Awesome advise. We will be putting ours on the market soon but we are moving out first, so I won't have to de-clutter in this sense. I'm tossing a lot I don't want to move though :)
on 8/11/2008 Excellent advice! Step 7 is a great idea!
on 8/11/2008 thanks for the tips. Definitely a great help!
on 7/22/2008 Great suggestions! It's not easy selling a home in the market today - this will help.
