on 7/24/2008 I think in general we should respect the elderly, but not their behavior. This really makes me think too about this old concept!

on 7/21/2008 Interesting article. This is when parental guidance is a must! I teach my kids to respect their elders but I also reinforce that they should be respected also. No one is allowed to touch them inappropriately! If they feel violated in anyway, they know they can tell me and I will do something. Too many parents shy away from this subject thinking their children are too young. They are never to young to start teaching them! People who are out there wanting to exploit children prefer them to be "too young". Don't let your kids fall prey to these animals!
