on 4/27/2008 the part about the carrying high and low part is backwards.. girls carry high and boys carry low...thats old..i dont know how they would have gotten that wrong....and its hard to tell with the sickness...my sister had a girl first, and she is pregnant with a boy now and has had no morning sickness with either. its hard to tell..but i go by how you carry more than anything...not often is it wrong.

on 6/18/2007 I have one boy and one girl I'm expecting my third child and it's completely different to the first too. Every one keeps telling me it has to be twins, I was so sick the first twelve weeks and have allot of weight on. I can't wait till the scan. Boy or girl if they are healthy we will be very happy.

on 6/30/2006 The way you carry the baby (high or low) is to do with the muscle tone of the mother, not the sex of the baby. Having said that, and putting my faith in science rather than superstition, I'm a total hypocrite because I'm going to try the 'needle from a thread' swinging over the bump tonight to see if it goes in a circular or straight-line motion!

on 9/21/2007 With my first son, I craved bacon, steak, hot dogs, banana snow cones and eggs. I figured it was a boy by all the meats I was wanting. Then the basketball-shaped belly began to appear and it was definitely a baby boy.

on 12/16/2005 I don't think the heart rate thing is accurate. It's faster if your having a girl. Both my boys heart rate's were 134-136 bpm. I knew from my experience with my first boy. When I was pregnant with my second everyone said I was having a girl. I said 'No it's a boy. He has the same heart rate and I was carrying him the same way. They were both low and lay kind of sideways. I was really tired with both, but had more nausea with the second one.
