Gel Gloss makes "No Streak Window Cleaner," which removes most water spots with mild abrasive and coats window to make spots easier to remove. Last resort: Phosph. Acid Tile and Grout Cleaner. Preventing water spots beats removing them. Rain-X prevents.

Use old newspapers with black-and-white print. The colored ads stuff doesn't work. The basic black-and-white newspaper sure puts a shine on the glass and makes it easier to clean in the future.

Glass is a "super liquid" that can be polished by using the finest grit steel wool you can find. Lightly brush steel wool until you've polished and buffed it to crystal clear. Windows stay cleaner longer, because dirt doesn't stick as easily.

Since my squeegee and sponge on a stick is long and skinny and my kitchen garbage can is rectangular, I use it for my solution, and it cleans out the bottom of the can at the same time!! A definite time-saver.

Get with the times. Just a bottle of Windex Outdoors and a hose. Nothing else. Spray it once, rinse (same hose), and let dry. No streaks, clean as a whistle and no ladders or sweat.

Put equal amounts of peroxide and water together in a spray bottle. Spray windows and wipe with old newspapers. It won't streak or smear and is great for car windows.

I have found that 1/3 ammonia, 1/3 rubbing alcohol and 1/3 vinegar makes for the best cleaning solution. I just use paper towels to wipe. The results are amazing.

This really works. Pour 1/4 cup dishwasher soap in a bucket warm water. Dissolve completely. Wash exterior windows with soft brush or sponge. Rinse completely by hosing down with water in a sheeting manner. The window will dry spot and streak-free.

Try to set your breakfast table before you go to bed the night before. This way, when your family gets up at different times and leaves the house at different times, the breakfast stage is set! Less stress on your part!

Spray on Windex, and use yesterday's sports section newspaper (one sheet is best), and wipe dry. If a second touch is needed, use a very light mist and wipe again. Beats all other methods. Newspaper leaves no streaks or fuzzies.
