on 7/11/2008 Can someone email me the answer to my question? What determines North in my apartment? The earth's Northern hemisphere or the front door of my apartment? Also, in my apartment, entry doorways are in the corner of each room with a closet on one wall and across from it is the window. There is only one way to setup the bed and dresser mirror where the bed is facing the corner doorway and the mirrored dressor is opposit the bed on the same wall as the doorway. Any ideas on how to setup with this limited room configuration?

on 9/13/2007 I recently became very interested in Feng Shui, after I have discovered that a room we have upstairs that I was using few month per year as a bedroom was literally making me ill. It was getting me lots of nausea, vertigos and low energy. I have read about it and I have discovered it is the three beams on my ceiling. I do not know if the pyramidal shape of the whole room contribute to it, can anyone tell me? And more importantly, can anyone tell me why my body was reacting so strongly to the whole beam exposure and my bf has no real pain or problems in getting sleep in that room. Can bad energy attack only some of us? I know for sure it is about the beams and the whole Feng Shui principles cause whenever I sleep in that room I get very ill, whereas sleeping in other parts of my house does not get me so much problem.

on 6/18/2007 when using the five animal template, does "to the left of the bed" mean while looking at the bed or from the position of being on the bed and looking out? thanks!

on 1/2/2007 ladies and gents, I am chinese, I do not practice feng shui to the letter, it is impossible to accomodate every type of bedroom and situation, the feng shui rules are not set in stone, they are more like guidelines. feng shui is really about alleviating clutter in your life, you can see how easyly you can apply this to your home when organizing furniture, etc, just dont create clutter, clutter=chaos, can't you see? keep spaces open, make sure you dont have to climb over stuff to walk around your bedroom, the more space the better, think clutter-free, that's all you have to do really. And to apply it to other areas of your life: just keep it simple, no complications. get rid of stuff you do not need in life, think open spaces, lots of room in your life and home, etc.

on 12/25/2006 Based on the five animal template directions, is your left looking into your bedroom or the left when you are laying on your bed?

on 1/3/2007 Okay, well... what if I have a door on one wall, a window on the wall facing it, and a window to the left of the other window? And the one wall with nothing on it is facing the door? Am I utterly screwed? Can't really put my bed anywhere, can I...

on 11/22/2005 If you have a computer in your room, place a living plant next to it, to even out the strong energy. Also, it's good to have the chair for your desk facing toward the door.

on 11/22/2005 If the main door of a flat is directly opposite the bedroom door, the occupant of that room will face legal problems. Position a small decoration or a piece of furniture to interrupt the line of passage.

on 11/22/2005 If your window faces a mirror (like mirrored closet doors), keep blinds/curtains over the window to diffuse the energy. A hanging plant or crystal in the path of energy may also help.
