chewyd - don't use 220Vac mains flex to power your amp - it's only 0.75mm CSA or 18AWG and will most likely overheat and melt! bigdome7 - it seems you have connected your amp's 'wakeup' wire to your head units power antenea wire. You need to find the wake-up wire on your head unit and connect it there - it should be powered when your head unit is powered.

hey guys, my amp only turns on when my radio is on.. how do i make it work with cds and mp3 players as well?

first off, make sure that your power cable is NOT run on the same side as your rca cables. if you are still having feedback, or your amp won't stay on, find a better ground. make sure the spot you use as a ground is connected to the chassis. clean the spot completely of all paint as paint does not allow for a good ground.

Never!!! Never!!! Screw an amp directly to a sub enclosure. This will shorten the life on your amp greatly. Most warranties will not cover if an amp is attached to the enclosure. The best was is to build an amp rack to hold the amp. This can be hidden away of place next to the subs. This doesn't cost a lot and will save you in the long run, plus when you show your system off to someone that knows sub well they will not make fun of you for your stupidity.
