Try adding baby oil or baby skin wash to the running water instead. You don't get the fun of bubbles, but you definitely feel the difference in your skin afterward.

If you have a new tattoo don't take a bubble bath! It's bad to soak it in water because of bacteria. If you're going to take one anyway, don't add bath salt!

While the hot water is running into the tub, pour Herbal Essences shampoo through the stream of water coming from the faucet. Not only does your bath have the scent of roses, it also has bubbles galore! This tip works like a charm.

Get something to read before you get in the bathtub. This way you won't have to get dressed or wrap a towel around yourself and go tramping around the house looking for something to read. Paperbacks and magazines are a good idea because they are lightweight.

First, make sure that no one will be bothering you for awhile. Lock all the doors. Fill the bathtub with hot/warm water and add bubbles or bath salt if you like. You can also add essential oils too. Light scented candles and put them around the bathtub. Turn the lights off. Submerge slowly into the water, toes first. Try to relax. Close your eyes and drift off, but don't fall asleep! You can also play some music in the background. Forget about all your troubles, worries, anxieties, etc. The main key here is to relax and enjoy yourself as much as possible. Also the hotter it is, the more born again you'll feel when you get out! Another thing I've tried is putting a half a cup of wine in the bathtub. I'm not sure it works or not, but it was fun to try! Basically, have fun with it and relax!

Buy cartons of Epsom salts at Walgreen's, Target, or WalMart. They cost about $2.70 per 64 ounces. They are in what look like cardboard milk containers. These salts are the same thing they put in bath salts, only without the scent.
Add one to two cups to a bath to get a real mineral bath. Use bubble bath or other scented products to add scent. The Epsom salts are shown to help muscle soreness. Also, if you want you can add essential oils to them to make your own bath salts, which you can also put in nice jars to give to friends. You can buy essential oils on the Internet or eBay. You can also add essential oils directly to the bath.
For music try the Worlds Most Relaxing Classical Music CD or Enya. And of course incense and candles. And don't forget your friends Ben and Jerry. A fifth of Tequila isn't a bad idea either. These tips are guaranteed to relax anyone.

You can add bath salts to make you feel like you're in the ocean, and as it dissolves, you can smell the fragrance. Adding spices, such as cinnamon or peppermint, can help you relax, soothe sores and even heal bruises. Add some herbal flowers and citrus (cut oranges and lemons), to relax even more.
