on 11/22/2005 As soon as that pleasurable bad boy pops up, apply ice for a few seconds till numb. Then proceed by applying a spoon and sroke in an up and down motion; this will make it less noticeble or make it dissapear all at once.

on 11/22/2005 Yellow or green makeup will neutralize the purple and red. If you decide to use concealer on it, it's best if the makeup is lighter, and ALWAYS set with powder! Also note: the "lipstick cap" and the "iced spoon with sugar" tricks DO NOT WORK!

on 11/22/2005 Dissolve aspirin - make a little paste and place it on the affected area. You can also put on Visine: it makes it less noticeable (also works on zits and bruises. Ice, too, is good for it.

on 11/22/2005 Hickeys are a result of sucking on skin. This feels good but creates ugly and hard-to-explain (to you parents, maybe?) marks. A tip is to suck lightly for small amounts of time. Enjoy!

on 11/22/2005 As soon as the hickey appears, take a regular hair brush and gently brush the bruise in an "up and down" fashion. This will immediately lessen the appearance of the hickey and constant brushing will help to remove it.

on 11/22/2005 To get rid of these nasty bruises, take a spoon and put it in the freezer till the next day; then rub the bruise in a counter-clockwise stroke. This should make the bruise less noticeable.

on 11/22/2005 Take the eHow advice, but apply heat periodically with a hot washcloth or water bottle AFTER the first day to "lose the bruise" even faster.

on 11/22/2005 Mix plain white sugar with water until you get a paste, then massage it into the bruise. This works best soon after the bruise forms, but hastens recovery regardless. I understand this causes the capillaries to dilate and reabsorb the 'spilled' blood.

on 11/22/2005 Take the cap off a lipstick, fill it with hot water and hold the cap to the hickey while rotating it. Rotating the hot water disburses the blood away from the skin, causing the hickey to go away. It must be applied several times for a noticeable change.

on 11/22/2005 Rub toothpaste on hickey. Let it dry, then scrub it off.
