on 11/22/2005 The next morning, after a warm compress, apply a little Arnica Cream, i think it's available in stick form or regular cream from any good pharmacy or health shop.

on 11/22/2005 Take a round lipstick cap and place it on the hickey. Push it on the hickey hard and turn a lot. It will get red but it will help it fade a lot faster!

on 11/22/2005 Take a "highlighter" and roll it on the hickey. I don't know why it works; I guess the blood expands or something, but it does half the job, which is perfect because then you only have to put concealer ... voil!

on 11/22/2005 One way to get rid of a hickey is to freeze a spoon for about an hour then rub in a circular motion. You could also use ice.

on 11/22/2005 Use the eraser on the tip of a pencil. Turn it in circles slowly and not too hard until the blood starts to loosen up.

on 11/22/2005 To remove a hickey, try combing it with a comb. It's supposed to circulate the blood. I heard it from a friend and it works.

on 11/22/2005 Rubbing a penny in an "up and down" motion will somehow make the hickey less noticeable. It's not the penny, I guess it's just the motion. Works for me.

on 11/22/2005 In summer, if anyone asks, you can always say it's a mosquito bite. It looks like one, and people are likely to believe it. And it isn't their business anyhow.

on 11/22/2005 If you are going to get a hickey, just get one somewhere where no one will notice it, like the inside of your thigh or your chest or something like that.

on 11/22/2005 Well, don't let the guy do it to you. I don't like explaining to my parents that that wonderful bruise on my neck is not a hickey! If the guy tries to give you a hickey anywhere else, try to avoid that, too; it hurts afterward.

on 11/22/2005 I've tried everything and the comb works the best...It nearly disappeared. Trust me!

on 11/22/2005 I have found that if you take a comb and lightly stroke up and down - but with pressure - it breaks up the blood and makes the hickey lighter. It won't make it completly go away, but it reduces it a lot!

on 2/16/2007 Apply a small dab of toothpaste to the affected area. Then follow this with the old frozen spoon trick. It works! No miracles, but much faster than usual.

on 11/22/2005 Just go on as if nothing is wrong. If someone does point it out, just act like, "So what?" He or she may be just jealous.
