on 10/31/2007 i am 5'' 1 in height with size 12DD. I agree with what Lisa said wearing a sports bra make me look flat/ unshapen. I just wanted to know if wearing the silicon bra would help give it a good shape?

on 8/8/2006 Get measured at a department store, and buy measuring tape so you can keep track at home.

on 11/30/2005 I'm an E cup and Ive found a dark color top that doesnt cling is the best way to downplay my breasts.Sports bras just make me look mishapen.I also have some bras that flatten my breasts out but they are uncomfortable and create cleavage starting all the way up under my chin.

on 11/22/2005 Find a store that specializes in lingerie for bridal trousseau's. For those of us with much bigger breasts (I'm a 34-H), we have a tendency to try to make up for the poor fit/ nonexistent bras in our size by purchasing bras to make do with. Try a larger cup with a smaller band, and you might just get it right (I did!). Also, always wear your breasts proudly. After nursing two children for a total of almost 4 years, I realize how wonderful and necessary they really are.

on 11/22/2005 If your cup size is a DD or above, Frederick's of Hollywood has bras in DD and F, including strapless in those sizes. It is very hard to find DD's at Victoria's Secret anymore. Also, WalMart has a great selection of DD's that are just as cute as their smaller sizes and are only $10. Baggy t-shirts only make you look heavier than you are, and do not hide your large endowment.

on 11/22/2005 For UK residents www.bravissimo.com (and all their shops) are brilliant. As someone said, department stores only tend to have functional, dull designs. Bravissimo have a fabulous selection of pretty, sexy and useful bras from band size 28. Some styles go up to HH cups. And the staff are really helpful and pleasant.

on 11/22/2005 Wear a bra. As large as I am, I find a bra with little stretch to be the best. My favorite is Wacoal. They have minimizing styles and they offer the most support. Plus, they last longer (they should they're expensive). Many of the less expensive brands loosen up over time, and goodness knows we need no more bounce!

on 11/22/2005 If you can't find a traditional bra in your size, go for a nursing bra (even if you aren't nursing)! They tend to have more support and they come in bigger sizes. Look up a bra specialty store, rather than buying one at a department store. These places usually don't have much of a selection in larger sizes. Especially if you have a large cup size and don't have a large band size.

on 11/22/2005 I am a size DD cup. I love Victoria's Secret bras. They give you the support and cut you want (push up, seamless), and they come in my size! (which is often hard to find.) However, I can't afford to shop there very often. What I do is, I take advantage of their semi-annual sales. I stock up while their great bras are dirt cheap.

on 11/22/2005 I find that I look MUCH smaller when I don't wear a bra. Bras push everything together and sometimes even up to under your throat. I wear a top that is loose across the chest - a tank with a shelf bra worn with a jacket or loose knit open sweater is a great minimizer.

on 11/22/2005 Lilyette Minimizing bras are the best - seamless, convertible, minimize up to about 1.5" from bustline. I used to waste money on bras until I bought this on a fluke. Now, it's the only bra I buy. I've even turned my mom onto it, and she has DD breasts.

on 11/22/2005 Don't be ashamed of your boobs! Good posture will make you look better than anything - don't slouch and let your boobs dangle, and don't thrust your chest up too much, like you're aiming canons! Keep your back straight, and your shoulders down.

on 11/22/2005 I have found that tight sports bras work in downplaying my breasts. The only downfall is that it gives you a unaboob.
