on 7/10/2009 This took me forever to learn how to do!

on 6/20/2008 great now i understood.

on 6/8/2008 thoroughly agree with everything said here. Just an extra little tippy.

FOR THOSE OF US WITH BIG HANDS, MAKE SURE YOU GET BIG STICKS !!!! YOU CAN FIND THEM AS THEY ARE GENERALLY NOT JUST WOODEN, THEY HAVE LIKE A " HANDLE " ON THEM.

Just a little addendum for ya !

on 5/27/2008 This is really cool! My kids love using chopsticks on occasion!

on 5/22/2008 Believe or not, not everyone in China knows how to use chopsticks.

on 5/21/2008 I am Asian, of course, I know how to use chopsticks. But, when some people asked me how I use chopsticks, ironically, I don't know how to explain how I use it. Now, thank you, I know how to tell people how I use chopsticks.

on 5/15/2008 I think practice makes perfect, just using chopsticks more, and you will do it better.

on 3/31/2008 I love using chopsticks. I noticed that each kind of food requires a different technique because it depends on the size and the texture.

on 3/21/2008 If more people learned to use these Americans might not be so damn fat.

on 3/20/2008 Thanks for a great demonstration. I've come across several discussions advising one to rest the first chopstick on the ring finger, using thumb, index finger & middle finger to hold the second. However, I found it quite difficult to 'control' the chopsticks, and changed my my hold - the method you described here is exactly what I found (through trial & error) to work best for me . I have better control over the chopsticks and I experiences far less strain in my hand and wrist.

on 3/19/2008 Are chopsticks use and throw?

on 3/8/2008 Good tips. Just used chop sticks tonight. They are not only great for eating, but good as a cooking utensil for stirring pots or frying dumplings. They won't scratch your pans like a fork and it leads to one less thing to wash.

on 3/3/2008 If you want to get creative chopsticks can also be used as skewers, in your hair, as a topper on a present, or make a craft project out of them and decorate your chopsticks (research using edible non-toxic materials).
