on 11/22/2005 Run the makeup brush under warm water and lather up with baby shampoo. Rinse with cool water.
Dry on a paper towel for at least 24 hours. This is the easiest and cheapest way to care for any type of brush, from nylon to sable.

on 11/22/2005 Special solvents for cleaning brushes are a waste of money. A clear shampoo (especially the drugstore kind!) will do the job beautifully for a lot less money. Use shampoo full strength to clean eyebrow and concealer brushes, then rinse.

on 11/22/2005 After rinsing, gently squeeze bristles with a soft, clean, dry towel. Re-shape bristles with your hand, then lay brushes flat. Allow them to dry at least overnight.
