on 12/26/2008 when you say rinse the shoes with the solution

let's say the solution is inside a bath tub
do you dunk the shoes into the bathtub
or like. soak a towel with the solution and just rinse the shoes?

on 6/20/2008 I just tried the baby wipe on my k-swiss after a heavy night out drinking. I had all sorts of spirits down them and now there looking brand new. Great idea!!!

on 6/7/2008 A "baby wipe" will do nicely in a crunch (before school, etc.) and works wonders on soft fabric velour-type auto upholstery. You MAY be amazed. If you have time, take out the laces (like your mom used to)- I use the sink in the 1/2 bath, warm water and mild soap, let soak a few minutes and then work them around in your hand (washboard-style). They'll be dry in a couple of hours or hang in the sun for even BRIGHTER WHITE!!! Then take that time to call your mom.(she worries).

on 9/10/2007 I am a fanatic about keeping my white leather athletic shoes as white as possible and I think I've found the answer. I rub the rubber parts of the shoes with a damp teri-cloth rag and straight Soft Scrub with bleach. I then use another clean, well dampened, teri-cloth rag and wipe off the Soft Scrub and rub the leather portions of the shoe vigorously to dampen the entire outside of the shoe. This prepares the leather surface to be sprinkled generously with white body powder. I use Amens. I then take a dry soft brush and scrub the entire outside of the shoe in a circular motion until all the loose powder had been dusted away. I do this in the shower or outdoors to avoid making a big white mess. The results are amazing...snow white shoes. I don't know if the powder will eventually dry out the leather but I'm willing to take the chance.

on 9/4/2006 When I clean sneakers, I use a mixture of water and Mean Green, spray it on the shoes and wipe stains with damp cloth.

on 8/24/2006 I bought a beige leather M&S jacket sample for cheap. It had blue ink stains on it, as if dye from a blue piece of paper. The easiest way to remove stains is to use a bit of whitening toothpaste. I just put a dab on the stains. Be careful how long you leave it, because it will strip the color off the leather.

on 8/8/2006 I use Woolite Fabric and Upholstery spray cleaner, a small nylon scrubber brush, and a clean rag to clean my sneakers. I spray the Woolite until foamy over the shoe, scrub with the brush, and wipe off. It dries quickly and it is gentle enough to not harm the leather and nylon.

on 9/21/2007 Make sure that you dry them thoroughly after you get them wet, or they will get dirty quickly and you will have wasted your time.

on 8/8/2006 This is the one I found that really works. Take the laces out of the shoes, grab an old toothbrush, take the bleach and pour in a cup, mix with a little bit of water. If that don't work, go to your local store and get the Magic Eraser, that works on everything; even cars.

on 6/30/2006 I clean my white SAS (time out) shoes by spraying them with 20 part water and 1 part Advanage Wonder Cleaner and wiping off with a damp towel. After the shoes dry, I apply SAS white polish and spray with a water repellent.
