on 8/15/2008 Help I got a small ink pen mark on my brand new leather couch. I tried to clean it and now it looks like the dye has started to come off in the spot not the ink though. HELP! MY HUSBAND IS GOING TO FLIP OUT! It's less than a week old. Desperate and sad.
on 8/11/2008 Dear Parakeet, Sorry I didn't read your post sooner butjust in case....here is a website for a company that makes an incredible product: www.DooDooVoodoo.com This stuff works absolute miracles ( I know I have cats!) for pet odors and stains. It works for ALL kinds of odors and stains of the worse kind but especially well for animals. They have an extensive FAQ section that should cover any questions you might have so be sure to check them out- I promise, you will NOT be disappointed! Good Luck, Juls.
on 8/3/2008 Does anybody know how to get a really really REALLY bad dog poop stain out of an animal hide with leather attched to the back? I really need help before August 8th. I ma babysitting dogs for someone, and they paid me VERY VERY generously. They escaped their pen, and I came in late, and they pooped THREE TIMES on the rug. I am so worried I won't get it out in time for them to come back. Please help!
on 7/29/2008 Hi, Does anyone know how to clean the stitching on a cream leather sofa; kids being kids, the colour of the cream stitching leaves a little to be desired :o( Thanks in advance :o)
on 7/16/2008 • Many spots and marks on leather can be cleaned off with an ordinary pencil eraser. This is true especially on white leather. • Many spots can be cleaned with a solution of 1/2 white vinegar and 1/2 water. This treatment is particularly effective on "sugar" or "alcohol" spots. • Oil and grease can be cleaned off leather with a spray-on spot remover. • Rubber cement is another good "oil spot" remover. Put it over the spot and let it dry. Rub it off and the spot is gone. (DO NOT USE THIS TREATMENT ON SUEDE). I found this at the boot barn site.

on 6/2/2008 Does anybody know how to remove sunscreen stain ( really bad one ) from leather sofa.?
on 5/26/2008 Saddle soap and mink oil should definitley not be used on finished leathers as they are far too harsh for todays modern leather finishes. Conditioning is totally unnecessary on finished leathers you need to use protectors not conditioners.
on 2/2/2008 I would not recommend saddle soap for unfinished leathers or any furniture leather for that matter - Saddle soap was made for saddles which are made of veg tanned, very hard leather - not chrome tanned soft leather!!!! The best products for unfinished furniture leathers (and all other types of designer furniture leathers) that are safe and won't darken unfishined leathers are Leather Only by Total Leather Care TX or SG5 from Advanced Leather Solutions CA. Both these products are backed by leather technicians - so if you have a problem they have an answer :-)
on 12/4/2007 For both finished and unfinished leather it is crucial to apply a leather protection cream; "The protection cream adds a stain resistant layer to leather repelling all liquid stains and drastically reducing stains from clothing and cushions. It also stops the leather absorbing body oils and grease, as well as retaing dirt on the surface so it can be easily cleaned in the future." www.furnitureclinic.co.uk
on 10/31/2007 I have a cream leather sofa that is dirty & wearing away in some areas ( arm rest areas, sitting area) I want to clean it & somehow add the coloring back in the worn areas. Can this be done? Maybe leather dye or spray color for leather? Help! Couches are in great condition otherwise.
on 10/3/2007 How about removing dried latex paint from new leather chair?
