on 11/22/2005 If you find that you are at a loss for an eyelash curler,(say yours breaks...) You can use the back of a spoon to curl them. Hold the inside of the spoon towards your eye and use your thumb to hold lashes over the bottom of the spoon.

on 11/22/2005 To make your lashes stay curled, blow-dry the curler. The blow dryer makes the curler hot and makes the eylashes curled last longer. Even if you don't wear mascara, your curled lashes will last longer. But be careful not to make it too hot.

on 11/22/2005 It's true that a warm curler works better. But if you don't have a hairdryer handy or just don't want to bother, breathing several times on the metal curler works just as well, plus you don't need cords and electricity!

on 11/22/2005 Put rubbing alcohol in a container and swish your brushes clean. Wipe them on an old towel. Stand them up in something that will hold them to dry. It not only sanitizes them, but they dry in less than 30 minutes.

on 11/22/2005 I use a metal curler, so I'm not sure about a plastic one. Turn on your hair dryer to a medium setting on low airflow. Hold the curler 2 inches from the hair dryer for about 2 seconds. This will warm it up, but it won't be very hot.

on 11/22/2005 Dust loose powder or light eye shadow on your curler pad and a little on the top rim of the curler. This will make sure your lashes don't stick on the curler and fall out. Dust darker shadow on the curler, and you could use it after mascara.

on 11/22/2005 Start curling at the base of your lashes, hold for 5 seconds, then move up a little, hold for 5 seconds, and continue all the way until you reach the tips of the lashes. This will add even more of a curl!

on 11/22/2005 Use a blow dryer to warm up the eyelash curler before you use it. The curl will be more defined and last longer!
