    Well done! With anything related to martial arts, balance is key and technique is king! I like what you said about spreading your fingers and using them to help distribute your weight along with the palm of your hand. A good teacher is important! Two years is a long time to go without knowing that. In my experience, teachers say things but I don't hear them until I'm ready...maybe that happened to you? :D I see that you like capoeira.     Bread is NEVER served at a formal dinner! So do NOT put rolls on the table. Leave them at the bakery!

    Be very careful when pushing chairs under a table. Pushing them too far beneath the table can dent a tablecloth.

    Instead of folding napkins into plain squares, fold it in an artistic way; Lady Windamere's fan or Bishops Mitre for example, and put it in the middle of the plate. This will make an elegant impression on your guests.
