on 8/8/2006 If you are having trouble separating the egg, you can buy certain products where you simply break the egg into the little plastic object. The white will drip out while the yolk stays in.

on 11/22/2005 You can even use a small funnel to separate eggs - just let the whites fall through while the yolk stays intact above.

on 11/22/2005 Break the shell and pour the entire contents on to a flat plate.place a glass or any narrow cylindrical object over the yolk taking care not to break it.Then hold the glass and the plate together, gently pour the white in to the bowl.

on 11/22/2005 I just learned this from my aunt at Thanksgiving. Gently crack the egg and gently drop the whole thing into your palm at the fingertips. Let egg whites drip through your hands into bowl. It is very fast and works great.
