on 9/1/2006 If you are pouring champagne for a large number or do not want to keep moving back and forth between a few glasses 'charge' the glasses first. This means put a small amount in each glass (1cm) and then pour the correct measure, this will prevent too much fizzing and will save time and champagne!
on 9/1/2006 When pouring the champagne, place your right thumb under the bottle in the recess and your four fingers on the outside of the bottle facing upward.
on 1/9/2008 A flute is designed to be held by the stem, NOT the glass part. If you wrap your hand around the glass, it will warm it up - and it's supposed to be chilled! Holding the stem will show that you really know how to treat Champagne!
