on 7/7/2008 That may be true with some injuries, but is definitely not the end-all to back pain. But- there is no end-all to back pain as it is. I am a sufferer of chronic back pain, and using my back is sometimes more painful than laying down, so maybe your method would work- depending on the injury, but would not benefit my disc herniation.
on 7/6/2008 There is apparently some evidence that not resting entirely, but continuing to use your back (safely) will correct the problem (at least until the next time!). I am not a doctor, so do your own research and/or check with your doctor.
on 6/26/2008 5 Star Article and very informative.

on 6/24/2008 tired of pain killers ruining your stomach and your clarity, I have found relief with a natural product that has greatly reduced the inflamation. Check out www.wowmangosteen.net and look at the science and documentation you will be amazed that your doc didn't know .
on 6/23/2008 I have to disagree with your implication that chiropractors are essentially the only practitioners who can "cure" musculoskeletal injuries. There are many structural back problems that cannot be "fixed" by chiropractic manipulation. I have been going to a chiropractor for years and am a firm believer in the chiropractic profession. However, I have injuries that can be further exascerbated by chiropractic manipulation including disc abnormalities. Oftentimes chiropractic care is not the end-all answer. Different medical techniques and practices can be used to treat back pain- and not every method will be able to help every person. As always, do not forget to consult your physician and specialists to determine the course of action that is best for you and your injury. Trying different modalities is common with back pain sufferers, but make sure you research and are informed about
