Return to article: How to Remember if You Closed a Garage Door
on 9/5/2008 Thank you! I will definately use this. I'm always driving back to my house to check.
on 9/5/2008 The other day we were on our way to the movies. We had 15 minutes to get there on time. Lo and behold, I blurted out 1/2 way there that I didn't know if I turned my Mr. Coffee off! Oh! was my husband frustrated to say the least. We turned around, I went in but he decided it was too late for the movies. By the way, I did turn it off! So much for remote control.
on 6/24/2008 This method will also work to make sure that you shut the light on the stove so you do not have to drive back home to make sure.
on 6/10/2008 Hey, this seems so simple but some of us are under stress or are organizing our day and this is a great idea to help us all along. Good stuff!
on 6/7/2008 Yes, it would also work on thinking you forgot to shut the windows. Hearing it is what makes it works so saying it out loud is what makes you not forget.
on 6/7/2008 This looks like a really good habit to get into - I don't use the garage, but I bet it would also work with thinking I've forgotten to lock the door.
