Another thing I forgot to mention; You cannot have any noise (excessive grain) in your photos. They will be rejected if this is the case. Visit the sites that sell stock photos and get an idea of what they are looking for. The average photo will not sell. Good luck and have fun

It is very hard to make sure your pictures are clear enough to sell as "stock photos" You also have to know what the magazines are looking for and will buy. The pay for stock photos are mere pennies however if you can sell a lot of them you can make some pocket change. Most professional photographers sell stock photos or have at one time. You won't get rich doing this so don't quit your day job.

I have sold a few rf stock photos on dreamstime. It's interesting that the photos that I don't think will sell actually sell. Great article!
