on 5/8/2008 Good advice. Something to add/include in the honesty section. There are certain things you just don't lie about. Don't say, "I just need to be by myself for a while," and then go and get into another relationship right away. Don't say, "There's no one else, I just feel like this isn't working anymore," when there really is someone else. Honesty in that department will go a long way. The person will be hurt regardless, but if you're honest in this department, the pain will only be temporary. If you lie and there really was someone else, this will have an everlasting affect.
