the problem I have is the 8 cats I including the littlebox accindent. I think the cats or one of them have peeing on the floor and my mom had caught one of them, named simba doing it in the hallway just in front of her. The other problem is that she had taken the carbet out and replace it the wood flooring, the livingroom, the two hallways, my room, and my sister's room has wood floring, and it cost alot to put in new floors. And by the way thing seems the cats have by peeing on the floor not in the littlebox. if this keep going on my mom might just get rid of every cat! And she said "I did't want them." but most were strays, and were found from different places. we also have a problem with a pittbull getting in the littlebox, can that be used too? I want to keep all the cats

I have the same problem with one of my cats peeing and pooping on the carpet. I asked advice from my vet and she told me that i need to have 2 litter boxes per cat, which is impossible because i live in a small apartment, But maybe you might have the room. She also said that if i use a scented litter that it can upset the cats, so switch to unscented. There is a product called Feliway which is a diffuser that you plug into an outlet and it is made to calm your cats. Also make sure that the litter box is not in a high traffic area, seclude it. I bought this cat litter box washroom (petco, $100) that you put the litter box in and it has helped a little to make my cat feel more comfortable in the litter box. I hope this helps!

I have 2 cats a mom and dad now but the dad has started to not just spray, but urinate all over the house. He normally does it in clothes hampers, beds, or in corners of back rooms in the house. I keep all of the doors shut to back rooms but he still does it in all kinds of spots on the floor. I dont trust him with the new kittens in the house so I keep that door shut too. he always meows every hour on the hour to get in the room. I let him in when im in there but no matter what he always wants to be in there. I would love to know what I have too do to get him to stop or I would have to give him away to a loving family that knows how to fix the problem.

Mix up warm water & candle oil in a bottle & spray it where the cat keeps urinating & this should stop them going back. Never use vinegar or ammonia based cleaning products as this attracts the cat. Hope this helps :)

My 2 year old female cat has begun a rather foul habit of urinating on my kids hockey bags....lately this has included my futon... and I have washed/sprayed areas but she did it again afterwards...now I have to throw out the futon mattress! I am thinking of throwing her out....but my kids will be devastated...someone at the arena suggested orange peels in the hockey bags..which we did...but I am still concerned she will keep this rotten habit up...as she has connected the smell of sweat is similar to the smell of urine.....any thoughts?

I have a 7 month old male cat that not too long ago began to urinate on my roommate's futon and on the clothes in my closet when I left them on the floor. After catching him more than once I solved the latter by keeping my clothes in the hamper and always keeping the door shut. When he does sneak in there I scold him and he knows he isn't supposed to be in there. As far as the futon goes, I have cleaned it many times but he always goes back to it. And Febreze does not take the smell away. I just tried Out! Stain & Odor Remover on it today so hopefully that will help. When my aunt gave me her bed I didn't know it had cat smell on it until I brought it home. I sprayed Out! all over it and ta-da, good as new.

I have a 9 yr. old Maine Coon that I just adopted last May from the humaine society. I have 2 other cats, one male and one female. They all adapted well, but the Maine Coon urinates right outside of the litter pan. He walks up to it and then scratches the carpet outside of the pan then urinates on the carpet.
