Return to article: How to Stop Procrastinating
on 3/18/2008 It sounds cheesy, but adopting the philosophy of "just do it" really helps. The moment something pops into your head, say to yourself (aloud at first if you need to) "just do it" and then go right away and do it. It'll stop you from mentally stalling or talking yourself out of it. After a while, it'll become habit.
on 3/15/2008 These are great tips! I find myself putting off "that article" because of the fear it will not be perfect. The more you write, the better you get, the more productive you become. As is the case with any endeavor. The key is to: START, and then keep going. : )

on 2/24/2008 Great article tips and comments. Thank you.
on 2/22/2008 These are all good tips, but the problem with procrastinators is not the how, but the "doing." I'm sitting here reading email when I should be clearing the mess from my desktop. I just put everything in a box when I have guests coming, and the desk is clean for a moment. Days later, I have the clutter on the desk and the box of papers. Egads!
