on 3/26/2008 Okay, three questions:

1) I am in the process of giving up sugar at the moment. I have given up all the "obvious" sugary foods, and I am now at the "nutrition label" stage. My question is, how do you treat products that do not have sugar in the ingredients list, but do appear to have some kind of sugar content? (For example, 2% milk has something like 12g of sugars per serving according to the label, even though sugar obviously has not been added.)
2) On a similar note, would you advise giving up natural sugars as well? Or maybe giving up certain ones, but not others? I eat a lot of fruit (NOT fruit juice, I know that is bad for you!), and I see myself having a very hard time giving it up.
3) This is more of a request than a suggestion, but could you possibly give some examples of "healthy snacks"? Phasing out sugar is made so much easier when you can phase in something else de
