on 10/1/2009 Hello everybody - As I just stated beneath a different article not all skin is created equal. What is helpful for me might just make the skin of someone else worse. Hence it is crucial that one does not just follow any hints. I do not think this article is bad in fact I think there is some useful advice in it. But one should at first give it a careful try before jumping in at the deep end.

on 2/23/2009 from what i understand, the oils may help to help the good oils flow, enabling the hardened, stuck oils to be released easier...apparently the clear oil is a good oil, but if you don't wash it off regularly and it gets dirty, by smoke or makeup or dirty air and dries, it causes clogged pores...

on 1/24/2009 I use a natural soap from www.EdenAllure.com, the grapefruit one. It removes oil from my face and dries it up, and clears up breakouts in 2-3 days.

on 10/31/2008 I just want to say something very important to all of you people struggling with acne: First of all there is no cure for acne. Some things may help your skin get a little better others won't even work or can make it worst. the reason for acne is HORMONES. Hormones go nuts in your body and there is not much you can do. Another thing is genetics - also not much you can do.
I finally understood it and stopped spending hundreds for "miracle" acne solutions. One thing that makes my acne a little better is FACIAL every month and drinking a lot of distilled water.

on 2/28/2008 so according to my knowledge: acne is a result of oily skin... so how is applying different types of oils going to resolve the issue? won't it worsen it>?

on 5/1/2007 Essential oils- I know to some people it sounds like a bunch of hocus pocus, but tee tree oil, lavander oil, lemon oil, witch hazel, and others can help out with problem skin. The word "oil" may seem scary, but these are not the type of oils that clog pores and may your face oily. My mom is really into the natural oils and stuff, and they really can help. The thing is, you should always dillute an oil before applying it to your skin, especially your face, ESPECIALLY for citrus or strong oils (lemon). When I was younger I made the mistake of putting straight lemon oil on my face and it burned really badly and left it pretty red. My mom and I use a gel called "Miracle II Gel." Also, be really careful around your eyes.
