on 1/26/2008 The most important number for desktop users is the AVG/s. This is in average MegaBytes per sec. Right now sata interfaces are rated up to 300MB/s but you never get close to that unless you run a raid configuration. Like i said in the tips, this info is most useful when comparing 2 hard drives, 2 computers or different raid configurations.
on 1/25/2008 i downloaded to a temp file, ran the quick test, it did a 97% test, but the numbers really don't tell me anything. please elaborate.
