Return to article: How to Punish a 2-Year-Old Child
on 10/16/2008 I have a 2 1/2 year old who will run away from you when you are out. She does not care if I am there or not and never looks back. Instead of sitting and listening at story time at the library,(or other places) she walks around doing her own thing and if the door is open will run out the door into the hall. I have hidden so she could not see me but I could see her to see what she would do but she just keeps going or stops to talk to someone. At home she will sit for an hour while I read to her so I don't think it is her attention span. I am open to any suggestion to help keep her safe.
