Return to article: How to set up an indoor tent
on 3/5/2008 Even as an adult, I love building tents indoors as much as I did when I was little. I just did this recently when my niece slept over. One good method for tent building is to start with the dining room table and drape a large blanket over it. That gives you a sturdy ceiling for the tent that won't fall in. Then you can add rooms and hallways off from the main area. Great article!
on 1/21/2008 Great article - but one piece of warning which unfortunately come from personal experience (about step 3) - when you choose your heavy objects, choose wisely! TVs it would seem, are not quite as heavy as they once were....but still hurt like anything when they come a-tumbling onto your head! As a kid we used to grab hammers and nails (much to dad's upset) and pin them to the walls...fortunately all is forgiven (I think)! Thanks for the tips!
on 1/21/2008 Great joke! It is a crying shame that you never got to set up a tent and you should do it this weekend.
on 1/21/2008 I always wanted to set up a tent indoors when I was a kid. ( but I wasn't allowed to ) this lead me to my life of crime. ( I make small joke. OK? )
