Good article. It really helps to have a good quality hair straightener too. My hair is wavy and stubborn. I first bought a mid range hair straightener and I couldn't achieve the smoothness, so I gave it to my sister who has easier hair and it works great for her. I had to shell out the cash for a nice chi....but it was worth it since it's the only one that worked for me.
