on 10/13/2008 This is such a creative idea. I love to give homemade gifts, but I've never heard or thought of this one. Thanks so much!

on 4/3/2008 I planted a rectangular basket lined with a heavy plastic shopping bag brought over the rim. I found a lettuce green ribbon to tie around the edge of the plastic to hide it, then fastened the scissors by a nice braided earthy colored yarn. As an added feature I buried an empty plastic medicine bottle in one corner and put the scissors in it for easy storage and to keep them out of the way. This is great and I can't wait for the harvest. Pea

on 4/3/2008 I planted a basket lined with a heavy plastic shopping bag and attached the scissors. As an extra I buried an empty plastic pill bottle in one corner and put the scissors into it. I also found a lettuce colored ribbon in my stash and tied it around the edge of the basket to give it some flair. I can't wait for the lettuce to be ready for harvest. Thanks for this great idea!
