on 4/4/2008 Excellent point; we tend to forget safety in favor of convenience, especially when driving alone. I would've responded sooner, but didn't see your comment! If I have to have my purse in the front seat (ie: for tolls, etc.), I try to keep it within reach on the passenger side floor, and keep all doors locked.
