on 1/17/2008 Hey Larry,
Try soaking the brushes in a bowl of water with some fabric softener added. Soak the brushes for a little while until you notice the paint coming loose. Then swirl the brushes around in the water and use your fingers if need be to remove rest of the paint. Make sure you rinse brushes well and then let them dry. Try that and see if it helps... Happy painting!

on 1/17/2008 Any advice on how to clean brushes simply? I paint sometimes, but my hesitation is always over how to deal with the brushes afterwards (I usually discard them). I know terpentine is generally recommended, but what a mess, still. No? Better idea(s)?
