My pizza stone directions say do not heat the stone. I'm glad, because I think it would be very hard to place the dough crust on a hot stone. I also add chopped or sliced olives, and chopped cooked chicken if I have it. And I don't consider Pepperoni a "wholesome" ingredient, so I don't use it. If there's a Trader Joe's near you, you might want to try their pizza dough, ready to roll out. It comes in wheat. -

I don't know how one would transfer the dough to a hot baking stone. (step 3) I put the dough on an unheated baking stone, cover with tomato sauce and toppings, and cook at 450 for 8-10 minutes.. -
