on 8/8/2006 I got an evening job working in a local gym and stayed there for about a year. It was amazing. There were heaps of sexy men going there every night after work, who I had never seen before. They are usually professionals and fit and very friendly. I got a few numbers and offers of dates while I was there, and I was only a cleaner!
on 1/27/2006 Compliment men on buses and trams, walking down the street, total strangers. The aim here is not to strike up a conversation with them but you will see your own confidence boosted when you see their excitement at getting a compliment from you. With your confidence boosted your interaction with men on a more personal level will be greater and the rest will follow.
on 11/22/2005 Boys overwhelmingly outnumber girls in engineering majors, so girls often get their pick of guys. The downside to this is that while the odds are excellent, the goods are odd (engineering nerds). You also run the risk of getting a "stalker" or two.

Another tip, take Home Depot classes. Home Depot is a great place to meet men, and if you take a few classes, you'll learn a few handy skills.
on 11/22/2005 Go to church! I'm surprised I didn't see this on the main page. Some churches are more family-oriented, and some are more old people-oriented, but if you talk to the pastor, they'll help you determine if it's right for you. By joining an adult Bible study, a singles group, or (in my experience) by being an assistant leader for a youth group, you're guaranteed to meet cute, charming single men. The only problem is that occasionally they have a girlfriend.
on 11/22/2005 act confident even if you're not. do not share any of your insecurities with a man in the beginning- that you're thighs are too big or anything. This is a turn-off! Believe you are god's gift to men, and he will think so too.

on 11/22/2005 Join a wine-tasting class to learn about all different kinds of wine. The men are single, like doing something, and have sophisticated interests. I swear, it's just all these interesting guys - all you have to do is pick!
on 11/22/2005 Take a class at your local college or university. Most people find their spouses while in school. At the same time, you will be enhancing your future!
on 11/22/2005 If you see a guy you, like smile at him, look him in the eye and say "hi." If you see some sort of response, make small talk. Be friendly, nice and smile. When I ask his name, I'll say "my name is Alana, what's yours?" Don't be scared.
