on 2/25/2008 Suggesting you replace a monitor simply because it is more than 3 years old is lunacy. Perhaps step 6 is just poorly worded, but this is what it's suggesting. Also, LCDs and plasma displays are completely separate technologies not at all related besides that both produce fairly thin panels. Plasma displays, which are a technology currently only regulated to HD television displays, cannot provide anywhere near the same resolution as a proper LCD monitor. They really shouldn't be confused.
on 12/20/2007 I agree fully. I would not go out and buy a replacement or even try to fix the old one. I love step 7 which full of great places to get a good deal. Most of the time if you post a wanted add for these on Craig's list you will get plenty of please come get this out of here offers.
