on 7/22/2008 I love this idea. I get so many socks from my son and husband that can not be used. My potbelly pigs will like a sock blanket. Thanks

on 1/7/2008 How great! I go through expensive dog beds in my house faster than you can say "Woof!" I love the idea of recycling all of those stray socks that would otherwise be headed towards the landfill. Very creative!

on 12/30/2007 I think it would look great. When making a traditional "rag" rug you take the strip of fabric and basically loop/sew rope/thread around it to make it round cord basically . . . then you sew the cord around in circles. Just be sure to "gather" the cord a little as you add it for a fuller look.

on 12/27/2007 Oh wow. I can't wait to get started. I could almost make an area rug. I wonder what it would look like if you made the circle rug but twisted the socks before sewing them to the whole? So many ideas and so little time.

on 12/25/2007 I still hate sewing but this is A GREAT idea! Fun... :) THanks.. i am sending it to my mom..maybe she will make it for me ..haha
