on 3/24/2008 I don't believe I ever said to make your kids something they are not...I'm simply saying that LOVE is the best thing you can teach them...everyone needs it...whether they think they do or not..it will keep them much happier if they grow up loving...not hating.

on 3/6/2008 um. hahahaha. i dont need hugs. i need space. i need my parents to understand that i am moving from them. i dont want to be tied down to family s***. The more you constrict your teens the more they are going to want to push away from you. just let your teens find them selves dont try to make them someone or something they are not.

on 1/21/2008 We believe teens need lots of hugs! I tell my kids they need one hug per year of age. That means my 14 year old son needs 14 hugs daily. I think people hug the child less as they get older and this is the opposite of what they need!
