on 5/23/2008 I just now found this site. Last year a relative said her son had Aspergers and they were so happy to have a name to the problem. I imm. knew my grandson had the same thing! When I began reading about it I "diagnosed" my husband of 40 years with it. It helped for a short time to realize he can't help himself, that is who he is. But lately I am as frustrated or even more so than I have been all these years! My health is going way down and I suspect it is emotionally induced. I am tired and the "battle" is as hard as ever! With you tho Jodalah, with two children with it, even with a divorce the battle continues. How were your children diagnosed? We wonder if our grandson should be diagnosed, he is homeschooled so what would be the purpose?
Thanks, Jaffy

on 3/24/2008 The really sad part is being married to someone with Aspergers.I have been married for 17 years and just now finding out why we have so many problems and why they will never ever change. The only good part is that I just found out that I am not crazy. I am however very sad and very very lonley and in need of change. Divorce??!!?? Possibly, but I have 5 children. Two were diagnoised with Aspergers. That's how I figured out that my husband has it. I feel so alone and empty. I have asked him for years why don't you know me. How is it that you didn't see that person whas getting angry?? Can't you see I am upset? Why can't you remember to help your kids??? Why would you say something like that, or hy would you say somehting in that tone of voice? Most of his answers were "I don't know." On and On and On and on..... I really thought he was just be ignorant and just trying to ignore the naggin

on 12/1/2007 Excellent article. I know a couple of people near where I live that have this condition. Since you live in Dallas, you might want to research the Neurotherapy Center of Dallas. Check with Dr Walker to see if his non-invasive treatments could help. Regards, Barry
